Memorial Limestone Pavers are a wonderful way for individuals, families and organizations to leave a legacy for current and future generations at the new Oklahoma History Center. These Pavers can be used to recognize family, friends and organizations, or they can be used to memorialize special individuals, groups or events.

These beautiful Memorial Limestone Pavers are located just inside the entrance to the Oklahoma History Center. Two feet by two feet in size, there will be 3 lines with up to 30 spaces per line available for engraving.

The Memorial Limestone Pavers can be reserved for a donation or pledge of $5,000. Pledges may be paid over a period of two years. Money raised will go to benefit the Oklahoma History Center programs.

Red River Journey Historical & Botanical Markers

HONORING THE PAST & PRESENT

Pay tribute to loved ones by honoring them with a special Red River Journey Historical or Botanical Marker on the Oklahoma History Center grounds.

Historical Markers are used on the Red River Journey to recognize sites and events from Oklahoma’s captivating past, including Oklahoma’s Gold Rush, the Red River War, Bloomfield Mission and the Dragoon Expedition of 1834.

Botanical markers acknowledge planted specimens of the various trees and plants present during Oklahoma’s early years such as Mesquite, Post Oak, Hackberry and Western Soapberry.

Each Marker is a 10” x 12” oval standing 24 inches in height and can be reserved with a donation of $500. Markers will include information of their respective topics with space provided on the marker for donor recognition reading “In Honor of”, "In Recognition of", or "Sponsored By" followed by the name(s) of the recognized individual(s).

Money raised will go to benefit the Oklahoma History Center programs.

Endowed Chair Program

THE GIFT THAT CONTINUES TO GIVE

The Endowed Chair Program is a wonderful way for you to be a part of the Oklahoma History Center project. With a donation or pledge of $500, you can provide an endowment for a chair that will be located in the Board Room or Research Room of the new Oklahoma History Center. To commemorate your gift, your name will be engraved on a recognition plate and placed on a donor plaque in the Board Room and Research Room.

Endowed Chair funds will generate many years of support for the Oklahoma History Center programs.

Oklahoma Family Tree Project

Commemorate your family name on the Oklahoma History Center Family Tree. The Family Tree is made up of gold and silver leaves, which will be affixed to the wall around the base of the tree. Each leaf will contain three lines of lettering on a 3" X 3" recognition plate, which will be placed on each leaf. The first line will have the family name; the second line the first name(s), the last line will be a town.

The Oklahoma Genealogical Society has agreed to keep a book that will include a page for each leaf sponsor. The page is where sponsors can add additional information about the family name that is on the Family Tree.

We are offering the leaves to sponsors for $1,000 each with the option of paying throughout a 2-year pledge period. All proceeds will go into the Oklahoma History Center Endowment Fund. Use our printable order form to reserve your leaf on the Oklahoma Family Tree.

The Oklahoma Family Tree Project is located just outside the Research Center Reading Room in the West Family Wing at the new Oklahoma History Center.
